Mandy
currently hosts Gallery and
previously hosted Healthwise. Mandy
is originally from the Chicago area, where she lived with her three sisters,
her mother (a Navy journalist), her stepfather, and an attention-starved
pleasantly plump beagle named Lily. She is passionate about the arts community,
and loves to sing and do music herself. She is involved in several choirs and
likes to help out at her local church.
Audra has been hosting Healthwise for over a year.
She is a senior at Quincy University and is originally from Monroe City,
Missouri. Audra comes from two
generations of family in the healthcare profession. She enjoys listening to NPR
and calls Robert Siegel her personal hero. On her time off, Audra spends her
time reading, playing basketball and playing with her very spoiled 15 year-old
dog, Muffy.
Maureen is a 2001 Quincy University Communications graduate. She
has worked in many forms of advertising and marketing over the years and is
happy to have settled into public radio after working in television, print and
the ad agency world. When Maureen is not at WQUB she is spending time with her
family (where there is never a dull moment!) with her husband John, kids
Madeline and Connor, and two dogs Daisy and Manny. And in her few spare moments
Maureen likes to read novels and enjoy the guilty pleasure of a few unnamed
reality programs.
Bob has two memories of early radio include WCAZ in Carthage and WSM
in Nashville. They brought music and stories to life from near and far. His
life experiences have done the same. Bob holds the local near and dear but find
intrigue in the distant. The multiple, shrinking lines of media by so many
devices are wonders. Twin loves of family/people, and technology drive his
curiosity daily. Blessed by assignments that have opened new doors and challenges,
Bob find marvelous, intelligent peers still teaching him something new. It
surely will never end.
